Dr Sarah Wilson, ND
Prior to starting AWH, Dr Sarah maintained a busy, wait list only women’s health practice in Toronto, Ontario. She was sought out for her evidence-based treatments of weight loss resistance, PCOS, acne, endometriosis and other complex issues. Born and raised in Belleville Ontario, Dr Sarah saw a need for comprehensive women’s healthcare in the area and decided to move closer to home to fill that need and raise her family.
Prior to her four years at CCNM, she attended the University of Guelph and obtained a degree in Human Kinetics and Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences. During her time at the University of Guelph, she had the opportunity to work in a research lab which ignited her passion for research. This has continued into positions with Ferring Natural Health and Wellesley therapeutics where she actively researches digestive health from a number of perspectives. Her passion for research has led her to develop an advanced understanding of the digestive system, immune system, metabolism and hormonal health.
